Since illegal #Chinese funding to Indian journalists (and others) is in news, here is a partial list of Chinese organisations which work for CCP and are most likely involved in this scenario. Info provided here has some gaps & I won't go into details, but take a look.

1/
It starts with Strategic Support Force (SSF) & Ministry of State Security (MSS). They command or work with a wide network of local and foreign organisations involved in propaganda, espionage, warfare and R&D. SSF is involved in space, weapon development and other things too.

Thread about Chinese PLA Rocket Force (PLARF), missiles and nuclear assets. Read on for a general overview.
For details and maps, visit this link: jjamwal.in/yayavar/chines…

There've been some new updates since this post was published, but those are relatively minor.

1/
PLARF is a unique force which holds the world's largest arsenal of ballistic missiles (BMs) & employs nearly 1 lakh (100 thousand) personnel. It is a separate arm from PLA Army, Air Force and Navy which have their own separate arsenals of SRBMs, cruise missiles (CMs) & SLBMs

Questions (not dumb), corrections & feedback welcome.

Pakistan has managed to create a fairly good nuclear command structure and arsenal with help from China and US which ignored the illegal proliferation attempts and even helped the project in some ways. Although not as advanced and susceptible to internal security risks,

Thread about Chinese Eastern Theatre Command (ETC) ground forces, their major assault force against Taiwan and possibly Japan.
More details with Google Maps link in the last tweet of this thread.

1/n ETC has 3 Group Armies (GA), 71st, 72nd and 73rd. Each has 6 Combined Arms Brigades (CAB) with the usual supporting units.

71st CABs: 3 Heavy, 1 Medium, 1 Light, 1 Unclear (160th)

72nd CABs: 2 Heavy, 1 Medium, 1 Light, 1 Amphibious, 1 Unclear (124th)

Thread about Chinese Marine Corps (PLAMC). More information and map in last tweet.

It is seemingly the fastest expanding arm of PLA since the last 4-5 years. Till 2017, it was a poorly equipped force with 2 Brigades. Now there are 7, 2 each under Eastern, Northern and

1/n Southern Theatre Navies and one under direct command of Marine Corps HQ. Total number of troops is around 40,000-50,000 right now and is expected to reach 1 lakh in 12-14 brigades. All Brigades have around 6000 troops except 7th Special Ops Brigade.

There are some noises about a new Indian Rocket Force (IRF) on the lines of Chinese PLARF. The planners must have made the decision after due thought and process. Yet an IRF doesn't seem like a good idea, amateur's opinion.

1/n
For one, it adds ambiguity & complexity of chain of command. PLARF is an independent branch, yet some of its traditional assets are with respective Theatre Commands (TC) while the nuclear assets are under direct command of CMC.

Short thread about Pakistani Army's Armoured Corps.

Pakistani tank inventory is a mishmash of Chinese copies of Soviet tanks, export versions of Chinese tanks and semi-Soviet tanks. How good they are in combat conditions, can only be guessed.

1/n Image There are 2 armoured divisions and 9 indpendent armoured brigades. Each brigade has 2 regiments 2ith 42-44 tanks each. Each regiment has 3 squadrons of 14 tanks each with 3 squadrons. Each squadron has 4 tanks. Rest are for HQ, reserves, training.

Longish story.

I had a pretty big friend circle a few years back. Sometimes we used to meet up at someone's house for weekend parties with drinks and home cooked meat. We usually got meat from a muslim owned shop nearby and a muslim friend did most of non-veg cooking. Once

we visited a sikh friend's apartment for the party and he had brought meat from a shop selling jhatka meat. As usual, we asked the muslim friend to take up kitchen duty. His 1st question was, where did you get it from. Upon being told that it was not halal, his demeanour

Being from #Jammu, I thought that genocide of Kashmiri Hindus by local muslims was common knowledge across India. Surprising that it takes #KashmirFiles movie made after 3 decades for people to finally take note.

Yet there are atleast 2 more Hindu communities from state,

1/n
refugees from PoK (Should be called PoJK as most area belongs to Jammu) & Hindus from north and west Jammu which suffered no less than KPs.

Former were living in Jammu since 1947, yet didn't even have proper citizenship rights and didn't receive any govt aid before BJP...

Pakistan starts induction of even more heavy artillery, 236 howitzers + 300mm MBRL.
Meanwhile Indian generals and babus are making Indian defence labs and manufacturers run circles for decades for kickbacks and ego. They'd fired or shot in any non-banana republic. ATAGS:
~We want it to have good range, but don't make it heavy.
~Why did you use Titanium to make it light?
~It fires 40+ km, but why did is chamber so big?

1/n. I often see people claiming Russians as true friends of India, French being great ally, Americans a moody girlfriend and so on. But there are a lot of contradictions in each case. Following are some excerpts from From Temples to Turbines by VS Arunachalam. 2/n
Soviets would deny the basic spares of their equipment with one motive being controlling their use by India. USSR/Russia was/is not that different from USA.
This reminds me of the huge number of crashes in past and how India was forced to make a lot of components due to this

Akshay Kumar is a foreigner but Sonia Gandhi is an Indian.

Pragya Thakur is a terrorist, but Sanjay Dutt is a model citizen and star campaigner.

What wonderful world we live in ! Pragya Thakur was arrested on fake charges which were proven wrong in court. She was brutally tortured for years by Hinduphobic administration just to get her to confess and peddle her agenda, all this while she suffered from cancer. But refused to betray her dharma & nation.
