Five Lagos ambulance points located at Tollgate of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway; Mile 12, 3rd Mainland Bridge; Anthony and Lekki in Eti-Osa, now wear a new look courtesy of @SOMLPforR.
The ambulance points, which were vandalised in the aftermath of civil unrest of October 2020, were refurbished by the SOMLPforR to improve quality of service delivery in emergency response and provide a work friendly environment for emergency responders.

COVID-19: SUSPECTED CHINESE PATIENT TESTS NEGATIVE
The Chinese man who arrived Lagos yesterday aboard an Ethiopian Airline and suspected for COVID-19 has tested negative for the disease, Commissioner for Health, @ProfAkinAbayomi has said @ProfAkinAbayomi who disclosed this today while giving an update on the management and control of COVID-19 outbreak in Lagos State said the patient who arrived yesterday aboard an Ethiopian Airline was taken into isolation after exhibiting symptoms of #COVIDー19.
@followlasg through @LSMOH has confirmed the first case of COVID-19 in Lagos and reported it to @Fmohnigeria.
The case, which was confirmed on the 27th of February 2020, is the first case to be reported in Nigeria since the outbreak in China in January 2020.
@followlasg has said that the Chinese citizen who presented at the Reddington Hospital, Ikeja @ReddingtonLagos yesterday and suspected to have Corona virus has tested negative to the infection. @ProfAkinAbayomi who made this known through a press statement noted that the likelyhood of #COVIDー19 infection in this particular patient was very low & the conclusion of investigations & sophisticated testing confirms that there is no case of Corona Virus in Lagos as of now.

The attention of @LSMOH has been drawn to some misleading, alarming and sensational reports especially on some social media platforms about the outbreak of Gastroenteritis that was experienced in the State in the past weeks.
Of great concern is a voice note currently circulating on Whatsapp which emanated from an unidentified individual misinforming the public of alarming deaths occasioned by the disease thus creating fear.
