Out now: as the first round of UK-EU negotiations ends, the EU Committee publishes its analysis and comparison of the UK and EU negotiating positions. Out now – EU Committee report on the revised Withdrawal Agreement and Political Declaration, ahead of the start on Monday of @UKHouseofLords consideration of the #WAB: parliament.uk/business/commi… The report highlights the powers of the new Joint Committee, which will oversee implementation of the Withdrawal Agreement, and expresses concern at the lack of transparency of parliamentary oversight.

In our latest report on #Brexit-related treaties we draw the UK-Swiss Trade Agreement to the special attention of @UKHouseOfLords, not only because it’s important, but because it differs significantly from current EU-Swiss arrangements. 1/5 🇬🇧🇨🇭 Switzerland is the UK’s 10th-largest trading partner. This Agreement mostly supports trade in goods, but the majority of trade with Switzerland is in services. We ask the Government to clarify its plans for overall UK-Swiss services trade. 2/5
