We walked through the Green Lane Rd area in #Leicester this evening & spoke to the locals. Many said they’ve not had to call the police even once in the past week to complain about the usual anti-social behaviour. No more music playing loud at 3am or drunken mobs. Alhamdulillah. They feel much safer since the Muslims started patrolling the streets and making their presence known. Many said they’ve been complaining to the police for almost a year but they feel no action gets taken. It’s sad that it’s had to come to this for the locals to feel safe again.
