The announcement from the feds on expanded status is restrictive & unjust. This program is set to run for only 6 months but will close as soon as the cap on immigration is met. There are hundreds of thousands of migrants that qualify if not for the cap. #cdnpoli #Statusforall 1/4 There should be no english requirement. ESPECIALLY due to but also outside a pandemic. There should be no requirement for a valid work permit or to be employed in order to 'qualify' for immigration status. These requirements are fundamentally exclusionary and racist. #cdnpoli 2/4
