On June 1, U.S. Park Police and other agents attacked peaceful protesters in front of the @WhiteHouse at #LafayetteSquare in Washington, D.C.

At our June 29 hearing, some Republican members dismissed how the agents used tear gas & beat unarmed civilians as no big deal. We’re holding a July 28 follow-up hearing to get to the bottom of who ordered that attack and why.

Acting U.S. Park Police Chief Gregory Monahan will testify.
