Large quantities of data = High quality of science. My new Nature Human Behaviour paper published today with @ShuhBillSkee shows that this could not be further from the truth. nature.com/articles/s4156… (1/10) For our work we focus on the association between digital technology use and teen well-being, which has been getting a lot of press lately. Some 'selfish' reasons to do reproducible science by @markowetzlab #Reproducibility2018 1. Reproducibility helps to avoid disaster (You have backups. You can check your work. You don't rely on miracles.) 2. Reproducibility helps writing papers and writing papers is what science is all about (scripts and markdown files allows for flexibility, efficiency and transparency in writing papers).
