The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic & Cultural Boycott of Israel challenges Israeli apartheid via academic, cultural, sports & anti-pinkwashing campaigns.
The motion calls to close the Jerusalem ANII office hosted at Hebrew University, which is complicit in Israel's colonial apartheid regime & partially built on stolen Palestinian land, and for the university to disclose information on all ties with complicit Israeli institutions. 
By choosing to directly represent genocidal Israel, Gal Gadot’s films are boycottable. BDS targets institutions, not individuals. Where individuals represent Israel, their activities are subject to the institutional criteria of the BDS movement.
In an open letter, prominent figures including Deepa Mehta, Mira Nair and Elísabet Ronaldsdóttir say that "the Academy must take a firm stance against complicity in oppression."

Israel has bombed and demolished Palestinian schools and universities, carried out military raids on campuses, prevented travel to campus and abroad for scholarships, and restricts entry for int'l faculty members and students wishing to teach or study at Palestinian universities.
