Recently as I flew back home from a short mission trip, I could not help being almost overwhelmed by the news from around the world.
2/ If you are like me, when I am in this frame of mind, my immediate response is always, what if anything can I do about this?
Mathew 24:14 says “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come” (NKJV).

Over the last few months, we have taken a look at casting our cares on our Lord because He cares for us (Philippians 4:6, 1Peter 5:7 and Psalm 37:5).

We established that praying to God to take away our worries & cares when He explicitly asked us to cast them on / relinquish them to Him is a futile task/ prayer request. We also discussed what to do with those worry-filled thoughts when they return Matt 6:25-27, Lk 12:22-25
Last month, we took a look at casting our cares or committing all our worries and anxieties once and for all on the Lord.

GOD CARES FOR AND ABOUT YOU!
Dear Friends,
Recently I was listening to a minister who pastored a church from its humble inception until it grew into a worldwide ministry. He made several statements that made me ponder a lot about the word of God.
“If you as an individual will focus in on God’s word and on what He says about your issues, you won’t be incapacitated by all the individual cares of our lives.”
“Casting the whole of your care – all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all – on Him;
Dear Friends,
"And #pray in the Spirit on all occasions, with all kinds of #prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on #praying for all of the Lord's people" (Ephesians 6:18 NIV).
2/ You will notice the first half of this scripture refers to all kinds of #prayers (Moffatt's translation - "all manner", Berean Study Bible - "every kind of prayer"). That lets you know there are certainly different types of #prayer which may be used in different situations.

The word #Forgiveness means different things to different people, but one thing it certainly points to is a prior state of being hurt emotionally or physically by others’ actions or words. Looking at dictionary definitions of the word #forgive

To pardon a wrong done
To remit or cancel a debt
To absolve of an offence
To leave a hurt feeling or situation alone, abandon it, send it away from you, your mind or consciousness
