Was out & about in a local town earlier & had an interesting conversation with a couple of people I didnā€™t know.

Short šŸ§µ

One mentioned a ā€œcoldā€ sheā€™d got over a week or so ago & she said sheā€™d heard ā€œrumoursā€ that ā€œcovid is on the rise againā€, her daughter had sent herā€¦ ā€¦a video about it. The other person asked her if it was a local outbreak, she said she didnā€™t know.

I piped up & said I thought it was national outbreak rather than just local. So they asked me how I knew and I said the info is on social media if you look for it.

This is what the BBC are doing. The recent article by @NickTriggle entitled ā€˜Why are we so ill?ā€™ didnā€™t even mention COVID-19 or long Covid as a reason for all the sickness weā€™re seeing, despite the fact that weā€™re still in a pandemic and covid is still causing long Covid.

Seems appropriate to repost this thread today.

The Government donā€™t encourage people to test for covid. They reduce testing.

They stopped reporting the long covid numbers a year ago. They want you to think covid isnā€™t an issue.

Theyā€™re hiding it with the help of the @UKHSA Meanwhileā€¦.

This is the Daily Mailā€™s take on the record levels of people who arenā€™t working because of long-term illness. Basically theyā€™re saying theyā€™re work-shyšŸ™„

Horrendous as their take is, why is the mainstream ignoring the main reason for all this illness?

The pandemic.

@doctor_oxford @GraziaUK @gabyhinsliff @officalITV @ITVX Your daily reminder weā€™re still in a pandemic.

Covid is still rampant and itā€™s still killing and disabling people.

Yet we still have no protections in schools. Very little testing or infection control in healthcare. And a much reduced Covid booster offer. @doctor_oxford @GraziaUK @gabyhinsliff @officalITV @ITVX ā€œAfter Covidā€ šŸ¤” Image

Hereā€™s a scandal that should be the subject of a tv drama.

The Government & the rest of the establishment covering up the dangers of covid infection.

For example excess deaths & long covid.
This is not by accident, itā€™s by design through reduced testing & data.

Why canā€™t the @UKHSA say wear a mask?

Why canā€™t the U.K. offer Covid boosters to all like the US, Canada, France & other countries?

Why doesnā€™t the @UKHSA warn about the risks of long Covid?

Why isnā€™t Tory policy on Covid being challenged *now* by journalists?

A reminder from the @WHO to governments *not* to dismantle Covid surveillance.

The U.K. has stopped the ONS Infection Survey & wastewater monitoring in England.

Iā€™ll ask for the umpteenth time, why arenā€™t the Tories being challenged on Covid @wesstreeting?

#CovidIsntOver In case this has to be spelt out again @wesstreeting, the public do not want to get repeatedly sick, itā€™s not a vote winner.

Failure to monitor Covid and invest in clean air is going to be disastrous for our health, the NHS and the economy

Just to be clear, the WHO thinks weā€™re heading for a mass disabling event.

Maybe its partly Covid, most people donā€™t seem to be testing.

Maybe repeated SARSCoV2 infections are making us more susceptible to other illnesses?

Maybe @novaramedia may want to look into why we have record sickness levels in the U.K., @michaelwalkerjr?

Weā€™re all vulnerable after weā€™ve been infected with SARSCoV2.

Stopping the ONS Infection Survey is not only reckless and dangerous, itā€™s been done on purpose to minimise Covid.

Politicians are getting away with policies of mass infection.

Whereā€™s the opposition? ā€œStudies corroborate the findings in recording signs of dream-enactment sleep disorder among 1/3 of patients after COVID-19 infection.Over 80% of patients with dream-enactment sleep disorder go on to develop a Parkinson's-like disease within two decadesā€

Firstly, weā€™re not post-pandemic and secondly itā€™s Covid, long Covid and related illnesses that will be driving sickness and absences.

It still will be as Covid isnā€™t over.

Continuing to let SARSCoV2 rip will result in a mass disabling event which will decimate our health, our health services and the economy.

Politicians, including those with financial interests in private health care, are letting this happen.

Do you find it frustrating when most of the media find anything to report on apart from Covid? Whether thatā€™s independent media like @novaramedia or the mainstream media like @SkyNews

Do they think 1.9M people with long Covid & more people getting it every day isnā€™t important? Or the fact that the Government are hiding the data by stopping the ONS Infection Survey? Isnā€™t that important? Or reducing testing in hospitals and stopping mask mandates?

Are they not reminded of the pandemic when friends and family get ill with Covidā€¦itā€™s still happening.

Labour in Wales raised concerns about the U.K. Government stopping the ONS Infection Survey.

Itā€™s ridiculous not to be monitoring SARS-CoV-2.

Iā€™d also like to see Wes Streeting challenge the Government on reduced testing & the withdrawal of mask mandates in health settings.
