I am incredibly excited and humbled that the @US_FDA has approved trials of the drug my lab discovered (@pulmotect PUL-042) to fight #COVID19 #pneumonia in diagnosed patients (NCT04312997) and exposed #HealthcareWorkers and contacts (NCT04313023). This has taken herculean effort by the @pulmotect team to get through the regulatory steps and by the @MDAndersonNews team to prepare for implementation.
