Read about grassroots organizing showers for unhoused folks in Meegan! The day the showers were installed, @CityOfVictoria shut the water off. The city isn't providing services that meet int'l human rights standards, and citizens are trying to do their job for them.

/thread The UN special rapporteur on the right to adequate housing requires gov'ts to "Guarantee access to public toilets, showers, and handwashing facilities and products for homeless persons living on the street who do not have access to private facilities."
