We've been programmed to perceive this. The good news is, we can unprogram ourselves.

I spent a while a few years back looking at pictures after pictures after more pictures of fat ppl in "fatkinis."

It TOTALLY changed my perceptions in wonderful, amazing, AWESOME ways.

1/ Now that I say that, I'm reminded of an experience back in the late 80s, a few months after I came out. Hanging out with other queer ppl, in a space where two men... felt safe... to sit on the sofa together & hold hands.

For a fucking qualified counsellor? Oh hellz no! "Applicants will hold a BACP or UKCP accredited diploma or higher qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy and have already completed a minimum of 300 clinical face to face supervised hours.
