Keroche Breweries fraternity extends its congratulations to our President on his inauguration and confirmation as our beloved president. We welcome the assurance that Kenyan businesses will get equal opportunities and an enabling , conducive business environment. His assurance that ease of doing business in this country will be a priority is something we wholeheartedly appreciate. We are motivated by the assurance that KRA will not be used by competitors to close local businesses because of tax arrears or tax disputes whereby they tarnish

Same 2007/2008 Finance Bill, Keroche’s main competitor- ‘Senetor Keg’ was zero rated to enable the low end market afford the product. There is no point has @KRACare ever supported us a local brewer .I don't need to add much on that statement because its crystal clear . In the same budget speech Keroche’s Viena Fortified Wine(the pioneer for low end consumption and which had been in the market for 9 years)excise tax was hiked from HS Code Tariff 22.04 attracting 45% as excise duty to higher HS Code Tariff 22.06 attracting 60% as excise duty

Dear #KOT Thank you for standing with me & for supporting the Keroche Family. We are because you believe in Local Entrepreneurship & I promise NOT to give up because our RESILIENCE will define future generations & how far they will go. Here is my #ThreadStorm in response to KRA. Dear Kenyans, the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) @KRACare has issued a statement to reply to our grievances that we had raised about Keroche Breweries @keroche_ltd. It is with humility that I seek your indulgence to take this opportunity to tell my side of the story.

It’s been a minute. Here is my statement in regards to what is happening at @keroche_ltd:

I wish to start by commending the Jubilee Government for the commendable work done during its two terms…

#Thread This is evident from the peace the country has enjoyed and the big-ticket projects completed on the infrastructure front not forgetting the growth of the economy from a low of 3% to about 6%.
