Hey Dr. Raven, as a history/special education teacher with ADHD, and having written 2 books, here's what I ask for: 🧵 1) more time for tasks. It's sometimes hard for manager-like folks to understand this isn't laziness, its what I need to be good at what I do.
I have a tendency to jump from idea to work to breaks very often, and it's important to vouch that your best moments can't happen when forced.
2) the freedom to explore/do/create what motivates me, so essentially asking for alternative performance accommodations.

So, I'm redesigning how I teach the Civil Rights in line w/ @learnforjustice's & @ProfJeffries' Teaching Hard History (also, thanks to Adam Sanchez).
We'll do everything from bust the Master Narrative, complicating Rosa Parks, deep dive into the Black Panther Party, & more.
I'll post every lesson I make here for others to use, & keep updating the thread as I make more.
