Yesterday, Deputy Attorney General Lisa O. Monaco announced the establishment of an Emerging Technology Board to coordinate and govern AI and other emerging technology issues across the Department of Justice. The board will promote use of AI in a manner that is “ethical and responsible and will advance information sharing across the department regarding emerging technology-related best practices and use cases.”
