Many of you would have made the plan for the celebration. However, there will be very few who know the real meaning of #MakarSankranti.

For us, Makar Sankranti is all about Kite Flying. But, if you would dive deep into this subject, you will find plenty of hidden gems. While most of our festival takes its basis on the Lunar Cycle. #Makar Sankranti is perhaps one of the few Hindu festivals that takes its basis on the Solar Cycle.

Remember just last week a video of a Muslim woman in Bahrain went viral in which she was breaking the idols of Ganapati Bappa.

Long Thread on #Mathura

This is a picture of the royal Idgah of Mathura taken in 1949, around the royal Idgah and around it the remains of a destroyed temple can be seen. Above these ruins is a notification board by ASI which reads as Krishna Janmabhoomi Apart from this... The ASI board says that this is where Hindus believe the birthplace of their Bhagwan Krishna was This belief dates back thousands of years.

This place was once a magnificent Krishna temple In 1618 a temple was built by Raja Veer Singh Dev Bundela of Orchha at a cost of 33 lakhs.
