यह प्रतिवर्ष 9 जनवरी को मनाया जाता है क्योंकि इसी दिन गान्धी 1915 में दक्षिण अफ्रीका से भारत भेजे गये थे।
मूलत: उनको भारत भेजने का उद्देश्य था उस समय प्रथम विश्व युद्ध चल रहा था और अंग्रेजों की फौज में भारतीय सम्मिलित नहीं हो रहे थे
+ क्योंकि गान्धी की छवि उस समय भारतीयों के लिये अच्छी बनी थी अत: अंग्रेजों ने इसी छवि का लाभ लेते हुये इनको इस काम पर लगाया ताकि गान्धी भारतीयों की भर्ती करा सकें और प्रलोभन दिया कि अंग्रेज प्रथम विश्व युद्ध के बाद भारत को आजाद कर देंगे।

RSS जिसे आम बोलचाल की भाषा में संघ कहा जाता है, इसकी स्थापना विजयादशमी के दिन हुई थी। 27 सितम्बर 1925 को राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ की स्थापना इनके संस्थापक डॉक्टर केशवराव बलिराम हेडगेवार ने नागपुर में की थी।

क्या आप जानते हैं ऐसे योद्धा को
जो मात्र 50 सैनिक लेकर अंग्रेजों की छावनी पर टूट पड़े थे?
और कमाल की बात ये है कि इस युद्ध में न केवल योद्धा लड़े बल्कि उस योद्धा का वफादार कुत्ता भी युद्ध लड़ा था साथ ही उनका वफादार घोड़ा जिसने जीते जी अपने मालिक की देह अंग्रेजों के हाथ न लगने दी। उस महान योद्धा का नाम था "चैन सिंह" और उस महान कुत्ते का नाम था "शेरू"
ये बात 1824 की है और जगह का नाम है नरसिंहगढ,सीहोर मध्य प्रदेश की।
इस महान योद्धा ने मात्र 24 वर्ष की उम्र में वीरगति को प्राप्त किया था।

"आजादी के लिये संघर्ष" पहला संघर्ष कब हुआ तो वामी किताबों की मानें तो गान्धी का दांडी मार्च
और थोड़ा व्यापकता की ओर बढें तो 1857 का प्रथम स्वाधीनता संग्राम और थोड़ा अन्दर की ओर जायें तो 1855 का संथालों की हूल क्रान्ति और आगे बढें तो रानी वेल्लू नाचियार का 1772 में गोरों का दमन.. खैर मेरा मानना है कि भारत ने आजादी के लिये प्रथम संघर्ष चाणक्य के निर्देशन में चन्द्रगुप्त के नेतृत्व में प्रारम्भ किया था क्योंकि कोई भी विदेशी आकर भारत पर राज्य किया और उसके खिलाफ जो भी संघर्ष चला वो सब आजादी के लिये संघर्ष ही कहलायेगा।

जिनकी वजह से हिन्दी को भारत की प्रथम राजभाषा बनाया गया,
हालांकि वो राष्ट्रभाषा बनाने के पक्ष में थे लेकिन कई घनघोर वरिष्ठ नेता इसके पक्ष में नहीं थे।
राजर्षि जी का जन्म 1 अगस्त 1882 को प्रयागराज में हुआ था व मृत्यु 1 जुलाई 1962 को हुयी थी। राजर्षि पुरूषोत्तम दास जी एकमात्र ऐसे कांग्रेसी नेता थे जिन्होंने 15 अगस्त को भारत का स्वतन्त्रता दिवस नहीं मनाया था क्योंकि वो विभाजन के सीधे खिलाफ थे।
क्योंकि आजादी के ठीक पश्चात् कोई बड़ा विपक्ष देश में नहीं था इसलिये जो भी था कांग्रेस का अध्यक्ष ही सब कुछ था।

it was founded in 2006 Actullay it was not founded but it was renamed with PFI from SIMI when SIMI was banned

These 3 showed what is called patriotism and how a lady can defeat the army of britishers and Nawabs.

They are freedom fighters Periya Marudhu and Chinna Marudhu, both brothers, also known as Marudhu Pandiyars and Marudhu brothers. They won battles against the Nawab of Arcot and the British. They were hanged by the British on 24th October 1801. Periya Marudhu and Chinna Marudhu were experts in guerrilla warfare techniques. They invented the valari, a weapon consisting of two limbs set at an angle in wood or iron. It is a variant of the boomerang. They used it in war against the nawab and the British.
