Ford govt strategists learned a lot from the #OttawaOccupation . There is small, but extremely vocal contingent of our population that is living in complete denial… …of the pandemic. It’s far easier to ignore the pandemic, then it is to exercise the necessary precautions to end it.
In other words, personal sacrifice for community gain is no longer achievable.

“Politicians” around the country are looking to exploit this sentiment…

Before the break public health was over whelmed and in many health units, schools were given a form letter from public health which principals of the school used to cut & paste as PCR testing couldn’t happen fast enough to confirm. Therefore…

…rapid tests were used to assume +ive case from parent input which = the closure of entire class. Nothing confirmed through PH, no case number on form letters. So there is precedent to proceed w/out official testing & confirmation.
