🫰 New Government data reveals there are currently more than 330 competitive funding streams for local authorities, with a third worth less than £1 million.
📈 While £1 in every £4 of grant funding has been allocated by competition over the last four years.

We welcome the new report by @GreenAllianceUK calling for a new green skills programme to reach Net Zero.
Local authorities are key to delivering a place-based transition to Net Zero which brings economic opportunities for communities across the country.

The report highlights case studies including @greatermcr which funded the Low Carbon Academy to train and upskill 1,140 people to retrofit homes.
It will also deliver a 16-week course to train over 200 people who are unemployed or changing career in retrofitting skills. 🏘️
