EAGLE Act / HR3648 debate thread. 🧵
Zoe Lofgren says a European immigrant with a bachelor's degree will get a green card before a person from India with a PhD and calls it a "racist" system.
Never mind that PhDs are in the vast minority. If she wants merit based immigration, how about banning the H-1B lottery?

ACICS ordered to shut down by the Department of Education.
Good - no more visa mills being allowed to operate under the blessing of this federal entity and churning out OPT work permits for fake “students”.
cis.org/North/Departme…
Of course, we still will have fake universities flogging phony certifications like this one in Houston and its sister fake university in Massachusetts. Evidence suggests both are run out of India as a website / call center scam.
Reading the ruling in this case issued on 2/17, the judge completely slammed @ITServeorg for being wrong about almost every single aspect of the case.
ITServe's case revolves around one of their H1B dependent bodyshops (Saxon Global) which argues they must be allowed to bench their workers and shuffle them around the country without doing any paperwork or paying any fees that hurt their bottom line.
HAHAHA. Hyderabad IT mafia front @ITServeorg takes a loss in court. Score a point for American workers...
law360.com/articles/14667…@ITServeorg The judge in this case Trevor McFadden is a Trump appointed federal judge. We sincerely hope this judge stays in the DC district court for a long time and issues more rulings like that that benefit Americans, NOT Hyderabad gangsters...
Thanks for nothing @POTUS. Don't do our kids any favors. They are the FUTURE of America and you would rather gift it to foreign scabs to please your corporate donors.

⚖️ H1B Lottery lawsuit ⚖️
Yesterday plaintiffs submitted their reply to DHS and ITServe's motions for summary judgment, and included exhibits showing DHS was warned about abuse of the #h1blottery electronic registration system. 🧵
Compete America warned about "flooding the system" with duplicate registrations. They predicted good faith users would be harmed and trust in the lottery system would erode.
Unsealed FBI interviews with the governor of Vermont!
"Shumlin told federal investigators last April the EB-5 fraud perpetrated at Jay Peak and in Newport was a "huge embarrassment" to him and his administration." burlingtonfreepress.com/story/news/202…
"Shumlin told investigators he took two EB-5-related trips, one to Miami and one to Asia. The Miami event was an EB-5 convention... He had dinner there with Quiros, Kelly and Douglas Hulme, a British national who owned Rapid Visas, a visa processing firm in Florida."

This is why the H-1B visa is not popular for hiring lawyers. If you treat them as indentured servants (i.e. using the visa as it was designed), they can turn around and sue you.
law360.com/immigration/ar…
Sound familiar? Thanks to dual intent, employers can get away with abuses because employees are holding out hope for a green card and will put up with a lot. The #h1b visa is EVIL in so many ways. Reform it or end it @SenatorDurbin@ChuckGrassley@RepJimBanks.

KellyOCG sources labor for tech companies by pushing resumes of candidates mostly from India who are supremely unqualified. They attempt try to distract you from how bad the candidates are using local bimbos who escort the candidates to interviews.

Add us to the protests. The "IT group" should not have any say in this case. They are the ones who created this problem by illegally selling #H1Blottery tickets in bulk for jobs that don't exist.
law360.com/immigration/ar…@ITServeorg timed the filing of their motion so the court case would drag on and the March lottery would go on as usual, allowing them to scam the lottery like they did last year.

DHS says they haven't received any input from the public suggesting STEM OPT fields to remove. Let's fix that...
Send an email to SEVP@ice.dhs.gov with subject line "Attention: STEM CIP Code Nomination" and nominate ALL of the STEM fields for removal. Here is the list for convenience, feel free to attach it to your email.

"1,076 of these foreign individuals – all of whom were willing participants in the scheme"
Never thought we would be saying we miss the @BarackObama days when @ICEgov actually enforced immigration law.

The 1,076 students lost their status and faced deportation. They knew they were breaking the law. Actions have consequences.

"Charles Edwards" is the man pictured in the photo who just pled guilty to stealing software and databases from the government while he was Inspector General for DHS under Obama.
Read on to learn what the media isn't telling you about "Charles". 🧵

This guy's job was to act as a watchdog for fraud. Instead, he defrauded the government to steal the personal data for a quarter of a million DHS and USPS workers and sell it to India.

law360.com/immigration/ar…@Law360 "The claims also detail one man's experience of being unable to be with his mother as she underwent cancer treatment in India."
What does that have to do with work permits? Just go back to India. They have jobs too. And you won't have to worry about getting a work permit!

Northwestern Polytechnic in Fremont, CA (Silicon Valley bodyshop central) is at the beating heart of the Day 1 CPT scam.
