1. There is no success story for contract tracing via mobile will work.
2. Contact tracing is an experiment initiated by countries with high smartphone penetration
3. India's smartphone penetration is ~25% and max upto 35% (not counting people with multiple devices) .

Yesterday I was thrown out of a Anti-CAA counter missed call planning group for opposing that idea tooth and nail.

Doing an Anti-CAA missed call initiative is foolishness and stupidity. It exposes all protestor data to Govt via centralized number call records. The rationale i heard there was , if we don't do this "someone else" will do this.

Does it help the campaign . No
Does it protect people calling . No
Does it expose people - Yes
Does it provide verifiability - No

So avoid missed calls. You may end up in voter targeting DBs.

States should decide they won't collect any parameters other than what is defined in Citizenship act for NPR updation.

Let's understand Citizenship Registry for CAB will be derived from #Census2020 possibly via an algorithmic operation. So refuse anything more than these. In 2011 census, many of us refused Biometrics based on this and saved ourselves from enrolling for illegal Aadhaar , while giving data to census.

My experiments with ICICI's newly launched PayLater account. This seems like a UPI creditcard, but with poor implementation. This looks like another desperate account from banks to get merchant transactions in their control. Need Imobile to signup for this account. Received an invitation from bank to try it out. Signing up creates a CIBIL enquiry for 10K Overdraft even though initial credit limit allocation was 3750. This gives pl.<handle>@icici as upi handle.

Whole Banking Industry is now into "mandatory" Aadhaar eKYC rush for even though there is nothing makes aadhaar mandatory for a/c opening. Kid's school requested Aadhaar numbers to comply with Karnataka EDU secretary's order asking all schools to add all children's to DISE portal & children tracking system(WTF?) Of Govt with June 30 deadline.
We send a 3 page letter to principal explaining legal status quoting SC The DISE seems like yet another huge DB project to collect children details in the name of school performance reports.

This is run by National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) with MHRD backing and DPEP partnerships

At @HDFC_Bank 100feet road branch indiranagar branch to open a salary account. The Bank is refusing to accept my application without aadhaar even after I pointing PMLA rules 6months extension clause. Wrote a letter to branch manager and waiting for its acknowledgment .@HDFC_Bank Branch Manager Ajith refused to accept my fully filled application no (MF1604032804) , Extended KYC Annexture with PAN & Passport photocopies, Copies of relevant Gazette Notifications and SC orders. Bhavana K , Manager given me the rejection in writing.
