#GaneshChaturthi has been quite the affair at our household from as long as I can remember. What started in 1935 as a celebration to mark the birth of my grandfather, has gone on for 84 years. Home-cooked food has remained an integral aspect of these day-long festivities.

The #GaneshChaturthi pooja, amongst other things, involves a #food offering (नैवेद्य/naivedya).
It started with around 5 items in the first year and an item was added every couple of years. This number bumped up to 32 in1985 and has remained the same ever since. 🍛🍚🥗🥘🥗🍲
