Struck by images of entitled insurrectionist couples in Lincoln’s, SUVs and pickups who just had most shocking & humiliating day of their lives. 1/ They started day with their freedumb, racist and anti-democratic symbols and play-acting camo thinking that they’d invade DT Ottawa once again for the 🎊 Sunday Party 🎉 on Wellington. 2/

Thrilled to join #HerosofRiverside this afternoon at Bank and Riverside. Most encouraging moments of past 16 terrifying days. Freedom and Community means looking out for most vulnerable 1/ Ottawa saying ENOUGH and taking action because we know that we can't trust Ottawa Police to protect us. 2/

Went for one of my regular walks past the front lines of #convoytoottawa2020 at end of aft today with friend . Seemed like fewer trucks and people than last week ... what will the weekend bring? 1/ Only sound of horns was on Wellington in front of Parl Hill. Needless to say no enforcement by @OttawaPolice But hey that injunction by City that's right around the corner is sure to make a difference 🙄 2/

No signs @OttawaPolice @JimWatsonOttawa @SteveKanellakos @ChiefAyotte are doing anything to prepare for the inevitable increase in occupiers on weekend. 1/ By no means worst aspect of occupation but city's inability to manage crisis has led to closure of one of few parks in DT Ottawa with a fence being erected around National Aboriginal Veterans Monument to save it from further desecration from "patriots". 2/
