Last week, MA released its final Clean Energy and Climate Plan (CECP). I talked about the plan overall last week – so today @Staci__Rubin and myself are going to do mini-deep dives into the plan. My topic: the clean heat appendix. 1/10
The appendix details a Clean Heat Standard which could provide funding for more conversion to heat pumps. The State is proposing this within the CECP as the centerpiece to slashing polluting emissions from buildings by 2030. 2/10

In my role @CLF, I often have to think about what our future looks like in Massachusetts. As the #ClimateCrisis looms over us, with impacts like increasingly frequent extreme weather, we know we have to do something – and do something now. (1/9)
And we know what we need to do. It’s time for us to leave behind the polluting fossil fuels at the root of #ClimateChange & transition to #CleanEnergy. #DirtyGas is one of those fuels responsible for the #ClimateCrisis. (2/9)
