Reading the book "The Last Kings of Shanghai," I see the similarities between the Igbo Apprenticeship System (IAS) and the business schools created by the Sasoons and the Kadoories. It helped both families control the entire supply chain/learning process of their workers - from the moment they enter into the schools till when they become workers, everything is well structured. One of the benefits of this system is that it helps spread wealth.

One of the most interesting branding phenomena I've seen was while I was in NYSC camp at Sagamu, Ogun State. I didn’t even know I would be in the branding niche then; it was just me observing and analyzing. There are these sellers that sells drinks and snacks to corp members during those boring lectures. There was this woman in particular, she noticed that whenever a “𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘱𝘦𝘳” wants to buy drink, they always ask “𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐝?”

The movie Soul is what I really needed to start my year. It taught me a very important often taken for granted life lesson - we spend our entire life looking for a purpose, that "spark" that we neglect the thing we really should be doing - Living. Few days back, a mentor asked "where do you see yourself in 10 years?" My response was "I don't know." I explained that I had no major goals for the year, and I frankly don't know what I'll be in 10yrs.

On yesterday's debate:
1. APC's @ProfOsinbajo and PDP's @PeterObi weren't really spectacular; they never said anything revolutionary, the other candidates just made them look good.
