#bitcoin became the first open source space-ready infrastructure after @Blockstream connected the most powerful monetary network to 5 satellites. 🛰

Here’s a thread 🧵 with some daylight pics and insights of my #bitcoin Satellite Full Node setup. /1 On the hardware side, I first removed my old DirectTV LNB and replaced it with the GeoSat Pro included in @Blockstream’s Satellite Pro Kit.

The kit includes screws and bolts but I used some clothing clips to showcase how easy it can be to fit the hardware. /2

Just got running up a #bitcoin satellite full node.

Using one of @Blockstream's Satellite Pro Kit's, I'm now downloading blocks from space in Caracas, Venezuela. 🇻🇪 ⛓️ 📡 🌌 🛰️ Next stop on my Satellite list is Brazil 🇧🇷, it's tricky to get connected with the 13° elevation angle. Too many buildings. 🏢

But I'll continue looking to get connected from there @Excellion.
