I have a simpler explanation.

The societies that confront their fault lines and talk about it instead of pushing it under the rug improve themselves but also get typecast in that behaviour by outsiders or unobservant watchers. For eg. Hindus have dealt deeply with its caste based discrimination issues & taken a lot Of affirmative action consequently caste is almost absent from urban spaces forget about foreign shores. Yet, despite so much improvement since 60s (like US) it's talked about even more.

US spread the ideas of liberalism, feminism, now LGBT tolerance, disassociation of sex & marriage, love marriages and even ideals of beauty for men & women using it's soft power in turn changing societies they touched irrevocably. Bollywood & yoga both have power to bring change in societal behavior.
Read a thread long time ago, a paki was lamenting cultural change bwood movies & k series was bringing. So the ability to change societal behavior is there but there must be ideological clarity.

Later kshatriya guna became dominant in treta & dwapar yug & humanity saw 2 devastating wars. The memory of which is still alive. In current age we see the world is being ruled by vaishya instincts. The EAC comes & rules Bharatvarsha. it was not only EIC, every European state had their own trading companies. Devastating entirety of Africa. The DNA of America is basically 'bijness'. Built on slave trade.

Everytime I hear the shouts of Freedom - Freedom to choose, speak, wear and what not, it makes me wonder of the pitfalls of all these freedoms. Does anything come without price.
For that we must first understand what does Freedom even mean? ++ Freedom means not being tied down so it is no surprise that it ultimately leads to detachment und being untethered and this detachment will lead to loneliness and end up in depression.

Criticism of feminism. #feminism

As any Indian educated girl I too grew up as a feminist, telling my mom to remove the pallu from head & unwilling to do household tasks (laziness supported by feminist ideology) ++ Though as I grew and started questioning all religions (liberalism, communism, feminism) instead of Hinduism only I found feminism severely problematic.
I call these ideologies as religions coz their adherants behave like fanatics & they are quite as supremacist at core. ++
