On June 20, we served interrogatories on @UNC in preparation for trial, scheduled November 6, in our NC public records lawsuit mostly for Professor Ralph Baric’s records possibly related to the origins of Covid-19.

Today, the University of Sydney denied our appeal (application for internal review) for documents of Prof. Edward Holmes about the scientific work for an influential paper he co-authored, “The proximal origin of SARS-CoV-2”.

Did the @StateDept predict something like the Covid-19 pandemic in 2018?

Yes, according to a @StateDept official, in a batch of new documents we obtained just before Thanksgiving via #FOIA litigation. In one of the emails, a @StateDept official writes, “Looks like the media is starting to report on this [the origin of the pandemic] more factually....If they get my cables they’ll also know it was essentially predicted in 2018.” Image

Today, we filed an FOI lawsuit against the @UofMaryland for records about the origins of #COVID19. We are litigating for records of Dr. Rita Colwell, who is a member of the board of directors of EcoHealth Alliance. #FOIA usrtk.org/wp-content/upl… UMD initially provided us with one batch of Dr. Colwell’s records. But when we asked for more, they wrote: “Though records were previously released pursuant to your earlier request…in hindsight, they should not have been."
