cw: suicidal ideation

Suicidality is not as straight-forward as the sanitized, saneist narratives presented to soothe normal people. Suicidality is not binary (suicidal vs. not). Suicidality is a complex experience that many people navigate everyday. I am one of them. For context, I’ve experienced suicidal ideation since I was 11- maybe younger. This year, 2022, is the first time in my memory where I have had moments of wanting to live into an unknown future. For at least 15 formative years, I had little hope and no will to be alive.
