Members of the Ohio Redistricting Commission have been sworn in. They are supposed to work on coming up with a bipartisan map by the end of this month. But so far, a map that's suitable to GOP (supermajority) has not been introduced for consideration. 
Rep Adam Bird says the 1054 hours that this bill would require would “stop the decline,” noting Ohio used to require more hours. He notes some other states currently require more too.
Secretary of State Frank LaRose has called for public comment 
Gov DeWine says he has talked to people who are anti-abortion but were uncomfortable with Issue 1 (changing the constitution).
Finance Chair Matt Dolan says the Senate version of the budget funds the Fair School Funding Plan without guarantees that have been given but senate leaders say are not mandated in the plan itself. This will cause some school districts to potentially lose thousands of dollars.
This is the proposed language the board will consider. Note it still uses the word “elevating” in the headline. That word was heavily debated the last time the board wrote language 
DeWine said officials faced 2 bad options. One was to let car containing hazardous materials explode w/ schrapnel going out “close to a mile” The other option- controlled release. The leaders chose that option and called for residents to evacuate.
This is the Congressional district map the court ruled invalid. 
Vanderhoff says daily case counts remain historically high. He says community spread is rampant. He says the statewide average is 2,000 cases per 100,000 people, much higher than the 100 per 100,000 average.
