I think that it's easy to say that all people who do wrong are horrible people. When the reality is that people who hurt people are hurting themselves. And toxicity doesn't just come in the form of abuse - it comes from us making partner choices that just inherently aren't right.
I'm the first to admit that I have stayed in a relationship that was not the right one. And for this reason our relationship became toxic to both of us - We weren't living our truth. Resentment and pain becomes the side effect when we don't make ourselves a priority.
