Two weeks ago,we won the @HumanTraffFdn 's Anti-slavery day Awards 2021 in the category 'Empowering Survivors Voices'.
While some remain deeply invested in the idea that forced labour has nothing to do with structural inequalities,or that
in this context race and gender matter little, based on our lived experience, we can say that what we call #homegrownslavery is rooted in race and immigration status discrimination. Unlike modern slavery , homegrown slavery can be tackled very easily.
