According to the John’s Hopkins University, 169,190 new cases and 889 fatalities were reported yesterday.

The total number of confirmed cases is now 12.41 million and fatalities is 257,671.

July was a particularly brutal month for the US - on many fronts.
1. COVID-19 cases and death toll climbed higher across the country except for a few states in the northeast. July recorded more than 10 days with over 1000 daily fatalities.
