Disaster of Ukrainian paratroopers in Svatovo and Kremennaya

The 25th and 80th air assault brigades were ordered to capture two different road sections yesterday morning

The 25th didn’t even get close.

The 80th was left without comms due to Russian electronic warfare and (1/2) … and contacted command via open channels, which was recorded by the Russian Shipovnik-AERO electronic warfare complex, after which their positions were hit by Giasint-B artillery.

Both groups were sent on the raid without support… (2/3)

Ukrainian terrorists blew up a truck full of explosives over the Crimean Bridge causing damage to the road section.

At the same time the explosion was timed to hit a passing train with fuel tanks, causing it to catch on fire over the rail section of the bridge.

ISIS style. The suicide bomber truck is visible here.

At least one car with civilians was obliterated by the explosion, but that of course isn’t an issue to a terrorist state.

It happened very close to shore, which will make repair work easier.

People don’t really appreciate how much Ukraine’s existence as a functional country is hanging on Russia’s odd sense of moral righteousness and good grace.

Russia has the capability to destroy the entire Ukrainian power grid in a single day, and do it over and over again. It has the weapons and it has the motive, but somehow, to the astonishment of many within Russia and outside it, it refuses to do the thing that would single-handedly not only end the war but also Ukraine as a 21st century country.

What's actually going on around Snake Island as Ukraine frenetically tries to take control over it? Image Why is Snake Island, located on the Southwestern fringe of Ukrainian territory, such a crucial target? Image

Crazy how losing a 40 y/o cruiser became "a devastating Russian defeat", even though the Black Sea is an uncontested pond;

yet the Ukrainian Military loses half that cruiser's worth in equipment and infrastructure daily and no one bats an eye.

It's all a matter of perspective. coping

(1/14) Mariupol is used by uninformed members of the public as evidence to demonstrate how Russia is running a failed military operation in Ukraine.

Yes, the Russian coalition is still not in complete control of Mariupol (95%) after 40 days or so.

But why? (2/14) To understand why Mariupol is not at all a failure, but a controlled success, we need to look at what's going on there.

Ukrainian channels are spamming this info: it seems like the Americans commanding the Ukrainian Forces, I mean, advising them, are recommending a retreat from Donbass into large cities that can be fortified further West, but the General Staff of Ukraine won't go with it The US military believes that fortifying Poltava/Dnipro/Zaporozhye would stop the Russian Forces, and that keeping troops in the Eastern Front will end with more than 50000 encircled in as little as 2 weeks from now.

(1/?) Jesus, I want to believe the bodies in the streets are actually alive people, but the pieces are starting to fall into place and it looks like the truth might be a lot more dreadful and cynical.
It looks like the ultimate barbaric act completely flipped upside down. (2/?) Russians might have completely fucked up this one, but not the way you think. They did not mass murder civilians on their way out, as should be obvious given the absolute counter-productiveness, timing it perfectly for Ukraine to conveniently use as atrocity propaganda.

NATO/Ukrainian estimates are fake, #Russian losses as stated by the Russian MoD are as accurate as you will get, and from now on the ratio between Ukrainian/Russian losses will increase exponentially. #Ukraine is gonna lose most of its military soon if Zelensky doesn't back down. It's gonna be a complete slaughter house once the bulk of the Ukrainian military gets encircled in Donbass.
They have little fuel, command chains are being repeatedly targeted and destroyed, they have close to no mobility under aerial threat and lack of fuel.
