If your keyword research process ends with an export dump, you are doing it wrong.
That's the easy part.
The ๐ part is actually evaluating them to separate the ๐ from the duds.
This is how I do it.
๐ต๐ปโโ๏ธ Have I written articles relevant to this keyword before?
I have a live database of existing articles with their existing primary keywords.
That DB allows me to quickly check against the keywords.

If I would do it all over again, I would:
Exploratory phase:
- Pick 5 different niches
- Research 30 topics for each niche
- Hire a content agency
- Publish those article (no editing)
- Sit and wait for 3 months
- Pick websites that shows an uptick in traffic growth
Building moat phase:
- Edit all the old articles with a style guide
- Get designers to create infographics/supp images
- Backlinks Campaign
- Use in-house team to create more content

I have been building niche websites for the last 5 years.
Over the years, I taught several different groups of people how to start their own niche websites.
All of them gave up.
This is why I no longer teach anymore ๐
Most of them wanted a side hustle to supplement their main income.
They were people close to me.
I wanted to "elevate" them.
Looking back, it most likely was ego.
Anyway, niches were identified and topics researched.
But ultimately, they all gave up.
