So close. Ah... This #AI is a politician. Never wrong even when it's obviously wrong.

Clarissa Grandi (@c0mplexnumber) does some great #mathart inspired by the #Alhambra so I'm going to use her #Inktober2019 thread and add the corresponding pictures that I took at @MuseoAlhambra. #thread 1/n Image This pattern is much bigger than I thought, (1st room). Two sizes, on one wall the rectangles have the size of a brick. I noticed it's just a small change in the rectangle&square pattern, common on the andalusian floors, also in this room. #Alhambra 2/n

How do you see these points moving ?
Ben Sparks @SparksMaths started a great talk last week for #latemaths with this simple animation. People see different things. What do *you* see ? Some see the endpoints of a twirling baton as @shskaercher mentioned it.

I made this GIF w/ @geogebra to show the differents throws 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 when you juggle, aka #siteswap notation. #thread
cc @ColinTheMathmo You can then combine these throws for a juggling trick which will be coded by the corresponding numbers. eg this is 441. (just the period)
