We can’t get complacent as abortion access is chipped away little by little. We cannot ignore the harm banning mifepristone will cause *even though* there are alternatives. Everyone deserves stigma and obstacle-free abortions, and we must refuse to cede that ground to antis.

Medication abortion is a 2-step process. Mifepristone stops hormones from going to the pregnancy and then misoprostol is used to cause cramping and bleeding. It is wildly safe and study after study has proven how safe it is. It is the most common method of abortion care.
