Even if small differences exist between the brains of male and female individuals, the two are similar for the most part. So why are the differences highlighted more often?
A 2021 paper by @Lise_Eliot et al. found that other than size, sex differences in the brain were “trivial and population-specific”. That is, it concluded, the human brain *wasn’t* sexually dimorphic. /2
This is happening way too often, so here's some Pride Month advice (MAYBE a thread):
1) the Pride Month is not the only month in the year that you need to talk about diversity, equality and inclusion... (1/n)
There are 11 more months in the year when queer/trans folx suffer at the hands of a cis-heteropatriarchal society and culture, and your silence during the other months makes your efforts during the Pride Month perfunctory. (2/n)
