It started with Terra $LUNA 🔥

But instead of 🚀🌖, I flew too close to the sun and came crashing back down to 🌍

At the end of 2021 with my portfolio the highest it had ever been, I got cocky, I showed my mum my number and she urged me to "take some out"... But why would I do that? $LUNA to 1000 was not a meme. We were just getting started...

This episode has been a valuable learning experience 🤔

Obviously I have regrets. But without going through this death spiral, I wouldn't have fully appreciated...

Assuming 1 $LUNA = 1 $bLUNA + $100 just to keep calculations easy to follow.

Say I have 100 $bLUNA in Anchor Borrow and no other Terra assets

Borrow $3,000 LTV = 30%

$1,000 -> 10 $LUNA -> 10 $bLUNA, deposit into Anchor Borrow LTV = 27%

How to become a millionaire in 2022 on Terra

Assumptions:

1. $LUNA = $100

2. A person owns 1000 $LUNA

3. $LUNA will 5X in 2022

4. $pLUNA / $yLUNA on @prism_protocol trade close to 50:50 ratio

Method below 👇 1. When @prism_protocol is released, split 1000 $LUNA into 1000 $pLUNA and 1000 $yLUNA

2. Sell 1000 $yLUNA for $50,000 and buy 1000 $pLUNA for $50,000. Now holding 2000 $pLUNA

3. Wait for $LUNA to 5X

4. 2000 $pLUNA now = $900,000

A 🧵on impermanent loss and why, as a #LUNAtic, I don't let it bother me.

Firstly, I haven't always been so blasé about it. In fact when I started providing liquidity I used to be quite worried about changes to token prices. Now when I join LP pools, I typically join TOKEN - $UST pools, e.g. $MINE - $UST and more recently $Psi - $UST

These pools offer high APRs which is one of the main reasons I invest in them, as something I learned from @Shigeo808 is that I want to generate cashflow.
