Finally, after 28 games played in #TotalEnergiesAFCON2021 we have reached the semi-final stage of the competition.
4 countries left, 4 teams, around 100 players left to choose for your #afconfantasy team, down from around 672 at the start of tournament
🔷Teams & Schedule
🧵After the 24 teams have battled it out in the group stage, now we are entering the next round. I will do a short preview of the knockout stage & just like for previous GW'2, give you some differential picks.
With the results of #GW2 coming in these coming days, let's see what kind of strategy we are looking at for the teams in #GW3 and which teams we want to target for the last games of the group stage.

Group A
Cape Verde🇨🇻 - Cameroon🇨🇲
To avoid being 3rd in group, 🇨🇻 must win.
For 🇨🇲 a draw is enough to win group.
I can see🇨🇲 still fielding the best team although depending on how the game goes, they will play it safe in the end. If🇨🇻 then 🇨🇲 will become 2nd.
My preference is to wildcard in GW2, so that I can attack the good matchups in GW1 , have more info about lineups and performance for GW2, and to avoid some rotations on teams that have already qualified or won the group.

In this thread I will give you some good options per position you can choose according to your budget for your team.
Also players with🥇GW2 matchup that you can sell in GW3.
Based on matchups in FIFA rankings in GW 2 & 3, I've categorized the teams I want in 3 groups:
A thread to think about why you'd want consider getting Conor Gallagher, or not, for the good run of fixtures the coming gameweeks. Especially with the injury blow to James McArthur. And the role of Luka Milivojević on Gallagher's performance.

Conor Gallagher is on the rise. The England call up (& debut) was a result of a great season so far for the Chelsea loanee at Crystal Palace.
2 goals and 1 assist in GW10-12 has made many owners run to get him, especially with the good run of fixtures for Palace up to GW20.
