My best friend since primary school died over Christmas, following Sepsis, aged 54. Unfortunately, she couldn't avoid Covid as she relied on outside carers daily and had to dialyse at hospital 3x a week.

During her first Covid infection in 2020 she was hospitalised and put in a coma. She fought and won that battle in spite of the hospital putting a secret Do Not Resuscitate order on her notes, unbeknown to any of her family and friends, without any consultation whatsoever. 2/

Every day, they are frightened to death, along with their families, that this might be the day, they bring the virus home that could kill Mum, or that they become sufferers of #LongCovidKids How is it ethical or even LEGAL to make our children's lives a living hell like this? 2/
