I’ve spent the last two days in northwest Tasmania visiting the beautiful takayna/Tarkine rainforest and I wanted to share what I’ve been up to. twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
I saw some beautiful parts of the region with local rangers from the Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service.

No ones deserves the kind of treatment Julia Banks got from Scott Morrison and the Liberal Party.
In speaking out, @juliahbanks has shown tremendous bravery.
Being Prime Minister is a tough job, but you can do it with honour.

Like many of you, I’ve been reflecting on the changes COVID-19 is making to our society, our economy and our way of life.
Up until now, everything has happened so quickly. We haven’t had much time to sit back and think about our experiences as a nation.

So what have we learned so far in this crisis?

Patriotism, like mateship, is about solidarity. It’s about what we owe each other as citizens.
Patriotism is the knowledge that we’re not alone in this life; that our neighbours are there to share our struggles; that we have 25 million people in our corner when we need it.

A reminder about Scott Morrison’s record. A thread:
Under Scott Morrison as Treasurer, the deficit has doubled.
