Peace first. Expression needs technique. Technique needs poetry. Imperialism, fascisms, migrants, media, propaganda, cultural industry, tech.

#Argentina Milei announced more than 300 executive orders ("urgency decrees"), mostly unconstitutional.

The decrees include 100s of derogations and will trigger massive privatisations, deregulations, deindustrialisation and a power transfer from the state to private corporations

The unprecedented number of decrees was prepared by Federico Sturzenegger, Macri's Central Bank director responsible for massive indebtedness. Yesterday he appeared in a video showing a pile of papers representing hundreds of derogations and changes to existing laws.

Castillo has been formally removed from the presidency by the Congress of #Peru after he ordered the state of emergency and dissolving the Congress. Most ministers have resigned. It seems over. Castillo’s exit was disastrous and comes after a disastrous presidency. His poor internationalist culture seems to have isolated #Peru and his presidency in Latin America and probably reflects in part his weakness.
Not surprising now why the US never complained about his victory.

This is the most important settler colonial paradox and it is the foundation of all epic stories of American white/creole nations too: there was nobody vs they were savages.

There was/is someone and the colonisers claim they were/are savages. Recognising this settler colonial paradox implies the foundation of plurinational states like Bolivia after Evo, the official recognition of languages, cultures, religions, the redefinition of property of land and water, political rights, quotas, education and more.

Judyth Baker, Oswald's girlfriend in 1963, a retired cancer researcher who is still alive (allegedly abroad for security) always said LHO was a "pretend communist" infiltrated by FBI/CIA in pro-Castro organizations and a US patriot. Luckily she's a woman so nobody believes her. I have no clue about the Baker's reliability, allegedly one of the closest people to Oswald in Nov 1963, anti-communist, scientist, articulated in her conferences and interviews (she wrote a book) but guess she is really unreliable bc she is never mentioned in JFK assas. research Image

There is some confusion about the “Kherson retreat”. Some associate the MoD words to the readiness to negotiate expressed by the FM (via Zakharova). These statements are unrelated: this is a military decision that is not related to a negotiated surrender of the city. 🇺🇦 We can probably assume that there were, are or will be contacts between Russians and Ukrainian/NATO to arrange the retreat. But leaving Kherson looks like a tactical move to preserve troops and materials, not a political one.

"Oh how wrong I was!"

What were you wrong about? Russia begged US/NATO to demilitarise Ukraine for 8 years, while Russian people were slaughtered by NATO backed Nazis in Donbass. Putin kept trying in the last months, weeks, days. What were you expecting? Another baby Hitler? Imagine being the US puppet president of a country bordering Russia with growing anti-Russian, Nazi militias armed by the West. You go to the Munich war profiteers' conference and say you want nuclear weapons and to join NATO. What to expect from Russia? news.yahoo.com/zelensky-ukrai…

The obsession with Maradona’s addiction issues is a media product. There are millions of cocaine addicts, many of whom very famous. Yet the one obsessively shamed and vilified for decades has been a latino who showed the finger to the powerful. Gold medal of conformism I remember the hate filled news in the 90s in Italy. In 1994 Maradona was expelled from the US World Cup (the only one) as a blatant mafia punishment by the FIFA for his vocal criticism and accusations. He said: “All the other players were only taking aspirins”

“UK gov’t secretly funded Reuters in the 60-70s at the behest of an anti-Soviet propaganda unit linked to British intelligence and made payments through the BBC, declassified government documents show”

How is that different from now?

reuters.com/article/us-bri… Reuters was paid by the UK gov’t to spread propaganda in the Middle East and Latin America. Now, considering Reuters’ coverage of Latin America and the Middle East today, it shouldn’t surprise anybody if it was still a paid propaganda mouthpiece of the British gov’t

Despite the media blockade, the US backed coup in #Bolivia keeps showing its pro-democracy qualities. In the photos:

- Mayoress of Vinto, Patricia Arce
- Ex-minister of Culture, Feliciano Vegamonte
- Director of a workers union radio, José Aramayo

#HandsOffBolivia 🇧🇴 For completeness, José Aramayo (who was tied to a tree by the fascistic mob), is the director of the CSUTCB radio. The CSUTCB is the largest union of peasants in #Bolivia, important allies and supporters of @evoespueblo

English only people are likely missing what is happening at the #Colombia-#Venezuela border. It was closed on Feb 23 to avoid US aggression and false flags. Since then food prices dropped making Venezuelans very happy. But Cúcuta (Colombia) lives from smuggling and is now dying This is quite impressive, because in only 8 days Venezuela has slowed down the inflation. As @rmenendezp and @pasquicurcio have always said, extraction of currency and subsidised products to Colombia is one of the keys of the economic war from the US.
