@NHSDigital user feedback for you:

- "practice member" entries being abused
- "type" list being restricted to manage demand and force people onto the practice phone lines - confusing user experience @NHSDigital I spoke to the practice, they said they had "turned off" online appointments because they didn't have enough doctors to manage demand.

That seems pretty dumb/inhumane to me, pushing people to the f****ing awful phone line experience so people just give up.

@ErnestKissiedu loved hearing you on

I think you are on to something but relying on reciprocity and doing the right thing will always be a losing battle.
The real fear of dead & insecure libs and providing a direct provable solution would hit home. Instead of some vague distribution of funds because people have contributed, instead tie funds to guarantees of future maintenance. And be the organise to vet, monitor and guarantee that happens.

Tips for remembering people's names... 📝 When being introduced to everyone in an office, take the time to make a quick note in a notepad. Name + role.

👹Fear: not making eye contact, being rude.
😇 Reality: people really appreciate that you care enough about them to make the extra effort.

I love how #Rust's Cargo command has single letter commands for things you do all the time. Clearly a tool built by real programmers for real programmers!
`cargo run` => `cargo r` Of course you'd want to add some shell aliases so you don't even have to type out the whole thing. Optimise the hot path!

@GWRHelp please update internal train digital signage with stops and make matching announcements *before* the doors lock instead of after, as you always do, when it's too late to get off.
Coach 5 of 10 is not useful information at this point. Thx Also, watching minutes of welcomes and security warnings scroll by when I just want to know if I'm on the right train is stressful.

Why do some developers code defensively and some only code the happy path for the task at hand? I've seen both, I've mostly been on the defensive-coding side of the fence.
I'm not so sure I'm right. Maybe it's context dependant.
