The U.S. surged its largest concentration of warships and aircraft to the Middle East in decades, and tensions with Iran are rising.

If talks collapse or strikes occur, Tehran has a large missile & drone arsenal it could unleash on U.S. and partner forces.

What that means 🧵 Image
2/ Iran fields thousands of drones capable of striking across the Middle East.

Low-altitude flight paths. Maritime approach corridors. Difficult detection.

These systems are designed to harass defenses, stretch interceptor supplies, & sustain pressure in prolonged conflict. Image
3/ Short-range ballistic missiles (SRBMs) may pose the most immediate danger in a U.S.–Iran conflict.

Many Gulf bases sit just a few hundred kilometers from Iranian launch areas—well within range of Tehran’s SRBMs.

That means extremely compressed warning times. Image

Thread. The trolls do love to call comment I make a 'Hatchet Job' so I will lift that out of their hands and very proudly call this MY Hatchet Job.

The Tribune article has landed.

"What?"

The Tribune! You know, Sheffield's source of "fascinating stories" and "one that doesn’t chase cheap clicks".

"Never heard of it sorry."

It has 2700 paid subscribers! £8.95 a month to hear about one man's fight to get a bollard installed in Upperthorpe! Why aren't you already signed up?

"What's an Upperthorpe? Are you having a stroke? Why is a man fighting bollards?"

No he's not fighting bollards. Oh never mind. Anyway they've written a story about the Jew hunt from last weekend where we chased some elderly anti-Semites off the streets. They are not chasing clicks or anything but they really think you should read it. Begging you to almost. Almost like they are using my tweets to draw in ... well clicks and likes.

"Fuck that. It's £8.95. Tell me what it says."Image

Well. First of all as any professional journalist would Vicky Munro centres herself in a story which is about something else. I think I kicked her in the ego so she has a little cry. Image
Vicky has a further little sob about me getting in the proper press. But she's better than the other press because she "upset" me. I literally wasted hours Victoria wondering why your fringe is trying to leave your head in opposite directions. Oh no, sorry, yes of course, I mean crying into my dumbbells.Image

CANCELLED: 19 @CIA intelligence products officially retracted over “inappropriate insertion of DEI issues" and failure to meet "objectivity" standards, per senior CIA official.

@CIADirector Ratcliffe ordered the removal of 17 intelligence products from CIA databases + 2 reports were significantly revised

The CIA official said these intelligence products, which began under the Obama Administration, undercut the Agency’s mission to provide “objective intelligence analysis on national security issues.”

Among them: This October 2021 Report: “Women Advancing White Racially and Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremist Radicalization and Recruitment”

- Trump Administration CIA concluded sourcing was defective, did not meet ‘tradecraft standards' + reflected ‘bias’

- In some cases, the analysis relied on political activist groups. One report cited ‘Planned Parenthood’

- Official said these intelligence products were clearly not an appropriate use of CIA resources

Other “Cancelled” Intelligence Products:

“Middle East-North Africa: LGBT Activists Under Pressure"

“Worldwide: Pandemic-Related Contraceptive Shortfalls Threaten Economic Development”Image
This retracted CIA intelligence product from the Biden Administration relied, almost exclusively, on media reports (which are not intelligence nor evidence) as well as academic papers. Image

So I just finished Tucker’s interview with Amb. Huckabee.

I’ve got to say, the Ambassador did a really great job navigating his wild accusations and constant bouncing from one subject to another.

Here are some of Tucker's most blatant lies and unhinged moments. Buckle up🧵 Image
1. When he called for every single Israeli to undergo DNA testing:

2. When he gave the green light for Hamas to use child soldiers:

Books and screens
Your inability to focus isn’t a failing. It’s a design problem, and the answer isn’t getting rid of our screen time

"In the 18th and early 19th centuries, novel-reading itself was the existential threat. (...) J W Goethe’s epistolary novel 'The Sorrows of Young Werther' (1774) was blamed for triggering copycat suicides across Europe".
"In 1941, the American paediatrician Mary Preston claimed that more than half of the children she studied were ‘severely addicted’ to radio and movie crime dramas, consumed ‘much as a chronic alcoholic does drink’".

🚨 EXCLUSIVE #2 — Tucker lied. Again.

He said that this week, "Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel releas[ed] a video calling me an anti-Semite and an enemy of Israel."

In reality, she said NOTHING about him, only calling his CLAIMS "reckless and misleading," and "completely detached from reality" in regards to his characterization of how Israel treats Christians.

So not only did she not call Tucker an "anti-Semite," let alone "an enemy of Israel," she was... right.

Tucker claimed that Israel had "bombed" the Anglican-run Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza — a claim that is, in fact, "completely detached from reality."

There was only one direct hit by Israel of the hospital, specifically a targeted strike in April 2025 of a Hamas center in one of the buildings.

No one was injured, let alone killed, because the IDF gave advance evacuation notice.

As for the rest of the "eight"?

Well, one was an aid airdrop that damaged solar panels on a building's rooftop.

And the only actual bombing that hit the hospital was an infamous misfired rocket from Palestinian Islamic Jihad on October 17, 2023, killing upwards of 200.

Full details re the supposed "bombings" are below.

But suffice it to say that calling his claims merely "reckless and misleading" would be far too generous.

Here is Tucker claiming he felt deeply unsafe driving from Ben-Gurion Airport to Jerusalem, as well as flat-out fabricating the claim that Bibi Netanyahu had "suggested" he was a "Nazi":
And here is the full video statement from @SharrenHaskel regarding Tucker's CLAIMS about Israel’s supposed treatment of Christians. She only mentions him in the first 10 seconds.

🚨BREAKING: NHS-backed puberty blocker trial PAUSED as regulator raises safety concerns. The Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has requested the King’s College trial team amend study protocol, to better reflect risks to children 🧵

Roger Froikin @rlefraim wrote, "Every week they add a new letter.

LGBTIQA+. Yesterday morning, they added an “I” today.

Why not include more groups that have experienced or are experiencing discrimination by someone?
1)
Add a “J” for Jews, as antisemitism has been growing on the streets and in institutions.

Add a “C” for Catholics, as Catholic churches have been attacked and Catholic values ridiculed.

Add an “M” for all the negativity toward men.
2)
Add an “E” for all the Evangelicals who are ridiculed by the New York–based media.

And add an “H” for all those who have some Spanish ancestry and who seem to have been relegated to a helpless minority by the elites of New York and Los Angeles.
3)

Claude Code on desktop can now preview your running apps, review your code, and handle CI failures and PRs in the background.

Here’s what's new:
Server previews: Claude can now start dev servers and preview your running app right in the desktop interface.

It reads console logs, catches errors, and keeps iterating.
Local code review: When you're ready to push, hit "Review code" and Claude leaves inline comments on bugs and issues before it goes to a full code review. Image

The SEC just handed crypto its most important win of the year so far, but nobody’s really talking about it.

Here’s what actually happened today, and what comes next.
Quick background: broker-dealers have capital rules that require them to set aside money against risky assets they hold.

The riskier the asset, the bigger the 'haircut', the chunk of capital they can't deploy (this is a similar concept to banking as well).
Until today, stablecoins were getting hit with a 100% haircut by some firms.

Meaning: hold $1M in stablecoins, lose $1M in usable capital. A total non-starter.
