Who is currently in control of Gaza?
@WhiteHouse @BoardOfPeace @POTUS @grok @grok What is the remit of the ‘Board of Peace’ ? Image
@WhiteHouse @BoardOfPeace @POTUS @grok @grok

The ‘Board of Peace’ would need access to Gaza and either the cooperation of Hamas or Hamas to be removed from the equation to carry out any real life plans for Gaza?
Is that correct?

"should we read" fracas just reminds me how uncomfortable people are with the idea that there are better and worse avocations, obsessions, and reasons to live. none of us will achieve perfection, but we can aspire to more than "pile up ever more money."
yes, like (probably) you, i have to spend a lot of my time working to stay alive. some of us have far less leisure than others, and nobody is judging anyone for that. but nobody is making *any* of us valorize the work and wages as the only sphere of serious reality!
perhaps "we cannot will what we will," as schopenhauer had it, but i think we can aspire to value better things. we can try to fill our leisure (whatever we have of it) with beautiful aesthetic experiences, with challenges, with things that expand and open our minds.

The myth Hayao Miyazaki helped popularize was not only also refuted by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, but also noted how Tezuka was made a scapegoat for the financial troubles the anime industry had in the 1970s.

If anything, Tezuka was a victim of the very "curse" being blamed on him. Image
In addition to the source for that screenshot in the OP, you can also blame Oldtaku like Roland Kelts for cementing the myth around Tezuka as being to blame for the industry's woes in Western discourse.

It also wouldn't be the last time the BBC would be involved in anti-Japanese BS.

Russian drone operators are using Belarusian civilian infrastructure to attack #Ukraine — and even test routes toward #NATO countries.

Ukrainian hackers infiltrated their systems for 6+ months. Here’s what we uncovered 🧵👇Image
2/ Hacktivists from Fenix Cyber Analytics Center, supported by InformNapalm volunteers, broke into accounts of dozens of Russian UAV operators.

They gained access to:
• #drone route planning software
• live operator chats
• real-time surveillance feeds

And monitored them 24/7...Image
3/ Intercepted chat, Sept 25, 2025:

“Drone ЫЫ12057 normal takeoff at 11:08 in the direction of Chernihiv.”

#Belarus was used as a relay zone to expand strike capabilities against northern #Ukraine — from Kyiv to Volyn.

This was systematic.Image

Peter Burugu: Inside the shady world of Kiambu's most notorious Litigator Image
While most CEOs spend their mornings reviewing quarterly earnings or scouting acquisitions, Kiambu businessman Peter Burugu spends his in a mahogany-paneled courtroom, whispering to a phalanx of top-tier attorneys

My friend @camedwardbenton asked all 4 frontier AI models to rank each other across 15 real-world tasks.

Claude 4.6. GPT-5.2. Gemini 3. Grok 4.1.

What they agreed on is useful.

What they disagreed on is fascinating. 🧵 Image
First — every model cheated.
GPT ranked itself #1 in 10 of 15 categories. 67%.

Claude claimed 9. Gemini claimed 5.
Grok? Only 3 out of 15.

If rankings were objective each model would claim ~25%. Nobody was close.

But Grok losing on purpose might be the smartest move in the whole experiment.Image
Strip away the self-promotion and real consensus emerges.

These 6 categories had clear winners that even competitors agreed on.

When a model ranks its rival #1, that’s signal you can actually trust. Image

Tirana - The Beginning (Day 1 & 2)

We landed in Tirana on a cold December afternoon, collected our rental car at the airport, and drove into a city that felt both unfamiliar and strangely welcoming. It was much more metropolitan than we had expected it to be - a sweet surprise to begin with!

Dinner that night was at a small Turkish diner. The adana kebabs were so authentic that they transported us back to Turkiye. So authentic!Image
Image
The next day, we wandered without hurry. Tirana is colourful, expressive. Its buildings are weirdly shaped and painted in bright hues, its strrets and cafés bustling with Paris-like vibes!

We had reserved a table at a well-known Italian restaurant. The pizza was perfect, the raki homemade and strong, and the tiramisu… rightly said to be the best! The kind you wish would never end.Image

We have a real problem brewing with the “Board of Peace” and it needs much more attention.

1) There is no legal entity for “Board of Peace” organized under the laws of any country, meaning it is subject to NO country’s laws.

2) Trump is acting like the US is party to it as a treaty organization, but only Congress has the power to do approve that.

3) BoP is collecting and distributing funds (JP Morgan playing as banker) but this must be in violation of Know-Your-Customer laws since BoP *doesn’t exist*. It is a transnational mafia backed only by the executive power of its members.

4) Since BoP doesn’t exist, USPTO is illegally holding its trademarks on its behalf, violating the Lanham Act, which requires that holders intend to use marks in commerce.

5) Trump signed Executive Order 14375 protecting BoP under the International Organizations Immunity Act, but this merely protects from interference, it does not legitimize or establish the organization.

6) Trump is saying he intends to use it to “oversee” the United Nations. There is no provision in the UN charter for any such oversight organization; what he means is that he is going to extort the UN by withholding US dues.

This thing needs to be challenged legally and practically. If it is not stopped it will quickly evolve into a world takeover mechanism, and indeed it is already usurping US sovereignty as well as sovereignty in Gaza and of participant countries.

Seriously, this is no joke and intervention is necessary NOW. The illegal trademarks are one pathway in. There are others. But whatever you do don’t brush this off as one of Trump’s follies. It’s anything but.
More on the Board of Peace’s illegal trademarks. Satirical T-shirts, anyone?

america2.news/board-of-peace…
One can make an argument that BoP derived an “international character” from the UN resolution, which may provide some capacity for its banking activities. This still doesn’t resolve the trademark or appropriations issues, which are explicitly in violation of US law. Needs sunlight!
