This is a follow-up to my and @RepBonnie's introduction of the #PAIDAct last year. Auto insurers have reaped benefits off the financial struggles of so many Americans for far too long—and it's only gotten worse amid the #COVID19 pandemic.
FACT: Auto insurance is rife with systemic racism. We must get the real world impact of auto insurance discrimination studied—and demonstrated—so we can finally get residents in #13thDistrictStrong and beyond the relief they deserve.

✔PAID Act - Stops the use of non-driving factors for auto insurance rates.
✔Credit Fairness - Prevents medically necessary debt from being put on your credit report.

✔Working to get pet coke on the list of toxic chemicals list.

✔American Cars, American Jobs - Helps residents purchase cars made by workers in the U.S.
Amendments Passed:

✔An amendment to hold auto title & insurance companies accountable to stop discriminatory practices.

✔An amendment to prevent the closure of EPA stations in areas that our not adhering to environmental standards. Wayne County is one of those places.
