All they cared about was the 'Market', not the people. And even after the said 'Market' imploded through its own corruption, these charming politicians gave it a pat on the back, and instead turned to punish the people with #austerity....
These politicians printed more money for the 'Market' while de-funding and tearing down social fabrics with reckless abandon; ignoring the common amenities that everyone shared; from healthcare to education to social care, housing, etc, all was neglected...
So people are right to be frustrated & vote #Trump, #brexit & such. Because for so long, voters played safe by keeping the 'devil' they know. But now, those devils are worse than evil. So wait for it, there'll be more Trumps & brexit bcause politicians continue to be slippery...
...And to put their #donors & chums in the front of the queue by handing them public funds to make loads of dosh from and leave it in tatters while walking away scot-free. The sad news is, brexit & Trumps are now riding the wind created by the politicians. So it'll get worse.
