(2/6) The FY20 budget reflects real commitment to many of Mass.'s greatest needs. I’m especially pleased that this budget makes major new investments in education, including the largest increase in Ch. 70 aid in 20 years.

(3/6) This funding reflects the @MA_Senate’s longstanding commitment to updating the Massachusetts #SchoolFunding formula to ensure that every school district is adequately and equitably funded.

(4/6) With $5.176b budgeted for #Chapter70 education funding, $345m to fully fund the Special Ed. Circuit Breaker fund, & major investment in other education priorities, this budget begins to fully implement all of the recommendations of the #FBRC

(5/6) I am also pleased that the budget targets investments in other priority areas, such as #mentalhealth & behavioral health; #workforcedevelopment ; #healthcare cost containment and access, including #Rx reform; and #economicjustice.
